Fu Meng is an emerging lens-based artist living in Toronto. He has worked as a commercial photographer for many top fashion media and designs companies in China and North America over two decades. In recent years, Fu Meng has been interested in exploring image technology generated pictures depicting human movements and activities in public spaces, and philosophical and ontological reflections on how technology will trigger our new perspectives of the relationship between time and space, and our hyperreality existence in the contemporary society.
Fu Meng exhibited in two Contact Photography Festival in Toronto. His recent solo show Between was well received and arose interesting discussions among artists, curators and scholars.
